Mission Statement

The Easton Public Schools Library Media Centers support the curriculum of the district and Massachusetts Frameworks, encourage and promote independent reading, and assist all members of the school community in gaining and improving information literacy skills in order to access, use, and evaluate electronic and traditional resources effectively.

The goal of the Oliver Ames High School Library Media Center is to:

1. Teach students to gather, analyze, evaluate, and use information from a variety of sources.

2. Provide resources to support the curriculum of the Easton Public Schools.

3. Collaborate with teachers to develop curriculum based projects and lessons.
